The SETI Institute is seeking a term-appointment (at least 18 months at approx. part time) project manager to oversee the upgrade of the Allen Telescope Array (ATA) radio telescope in Northern California. The ATA's primary application is to discover artificial signals coming from outside of our solar system indicating extra-terrestrial intelligence, and additionally to study and discover astronomical anomalies.

Research scientist, Dr. Nathalie Cabrol and her team head to Chile to collect environmental and biological data in and around Laguna Negra to study how the Lake Lander probe senses its environment. Afterwards, the probe will come back to the US where the engineering team will start working on its “brain” (the adaptive system).
