Companies Matching Donations
You may be able to double or even triple your contribution to the SETI Institute if you work for a company that matches employee gifts. Following is a list of some companies known to match gifts to the SETI Institute. Companies are listed by city and state where they are headquartered. Also listed is the ratio of matching gifts (e.g., a ratio of 1.00 means that if an employee gives $100 to the SETI Institute, the company will also give $100), the minimum employee gift eligible for a company match, and the maximum amount a company will match during one fiscal year.
If your company is not on the list, your Human Resources or Community Relations office should be able to tell you whether your company matches employee gifts and what its rules are. If you tell us about a matching gift company not on this list, we'll send you a free Drake Equation t-shirt for letting us know!
